MR-225 Replacement Cartridge
Mineral Reduction Cartridge
B E N E F I T S
Improves equipment life and performance by
removing at least 90%+ of all dissolved solids
using Reverse Osmosis Separation Technology
MR-225 Replacement Cartridge: EV9627-03
A reduction in Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
make the water less likely to impart undesirable
tastes in beverages, sauces, soups and other food
products
Especially useful on steamers, warmers, steam
boilers and other evaporative equipment that are
not emptied each day
Heating surfaces maintain peak heat transfer
efficiency, reducing cycle times and energy
consumption
Limits limescale build-up, which can cause
excessive machine downtime and maintenance
costs
Sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick
and clean. Internal filter parts are never exposed
to handling or contamination

Install vertically with cartridge hanging down
Change MR Cartridge on a regular 24 month
preventative maintenance program
Mineral Reduction Cartridge for High TDS
Waters
Allow 2-1/2” clearance below the cartridge for
easy cartridge replacement
Change MR Cartridge when output capacity
diminishes by 15%, or when output pressure
becomes too low.
Capacity: 225 Gallons per Day nominal
Ideal for:
Use piping materials suitable for high-purity
water after MRS System
Always flush the MR cartridge at time of
installation and cartridge change
Coffee/espresso machines, reconstitution, ice,
flash steamers, conventional steamers, combi-
ovens and multiple applications
Refer to Installation, Operation & Maintenance
Manual for cartridge flushing and RO start-up
Proper pre-treatment is required to control MR
Cartridge (membrane) scale formation and/or
fouling.
- Raw water hardness in excess of 7 grains per
gallon should be softened to extend cartridge life
- The raw water may contain chlorine or
other oxidizers and the use of a carbon pre-filter
is recommended.
